Can someone tell me with certainty, what Make and Model A/C Heat unit is installed in a 2007 Marlin .. I have contacted both Grady and Marine Air, There seams to be an uncertainty . I spoke with 2 people at Grady. One was helpful and one not so helpful. I assumed the dimensions, , and mounting space would be the same for all marlins, but Grady said "NO".. When asked What model A/C was in the new boat he did not want to take the time to look anything up. He said, "Every 5 years they re-design the cabin or they would not sell new boats"" Somehow I am having a problem swallowing that.

There is a person at Dometic, (Marine Air) who is going the extra mile to help me out. But I figured I might be able to get some info here...
My problem is that I have a 2007 Marlin where the A/C unit was removed !

Thanks

Hi,

I have a 06 Marlin and dug through all the manuals and paper work. Hopefully this helps.
AC is made by Dometic Corp, 200 North Andrews Ave Ext, Pompano Beach FL 33069
There are 8 distributors by state. Let me know where you are and I can shoot you the local contact.
The Model is the Vector Series. It doesn't say which one is installed.
The manual says: Direct Expansion Systems, Revised 4-15-04, L-2166. This may help bound things for you.

I may be going to my boat today, if I do I will check to see if I can locate additional info. Keep us up to date with your issue and resolution.

No prob. I checked the boat and there really isn't much info to obtain without taking a panel off and exposing the unit. If you need further help, let me know and I'll see if I can get info when I lay her up.
