Marlin 28 Canvas on 2007 Marlin?

A guy is selling his Marlin 28 canvas, would it fit a 2007 Marlin? I don't know anything of the older 28 Marlins. Are they basically the same boat that were renamed?

I have the tools to add snaps, but not sure of the dimensions of the top on the Marlin 28.

likely some differences.
- windshield is much higher on the newer marlins. My guess is this will affect all front and side curtains.
- lift the dot snaps used on some models not on others.
For $2800 A&J canvas will hook you up with all new pieces (stamoid with the strata glass). I'd do that before hacking an older set.
