An 8oz container of this stuff should come with your boat when you buy it (hint GW)....
Check the video out. I have no affiliation with this firm, but the stuff appears to be a no brainer to have aboard.

$11 and $23 at West Marine.

Fishtales, thanks for bringing this to the table. Didn't know this stuff existed. Excellent demo showing how it works. Will get some today when I go to WM. :)

Found my local WM did not stock it, but the one near the coast had 1 of each size, so I got one while I was there. Seems no one knew what it was from either store. I bet if Stowaway did a little advertisement, it would go like hotcakes...and rightly so!

Bump for spring gear up..thanks to the OP..picked up two containers last yr and can breath a bit easier..in addition to my ditch bag and life raft I made a "do not sink" bag it's got stay-a-float, wood lugs, extra hose clamps, everything to re-wire, flashlights, knives, volt meter, srew drivers, wrenches, the list goes on. The bag is bright orange, no bigger then a shoe box and stay right next to the ditch bag and life raft. Figure if the situation isn't really bad that bag may prevent a sinking without having to rummage for tools it's all there ready to go. Nothing gets borrowed or removed unless I'm in that pinch situation.

Wow, terrific product that can save our boat and us... and being that it's indorsed by some of the first responders it's a no brainer, for me at least. Buying some ASAP
Thanks fishtales....

It probably be a good Idea to post this in the main (general) forum also

I've heard a toilet bowl wax ring will do the same if you cannot locate this product.

What is the name of the product? I have been trying to play the YouTube link for several days and can't get it to play. Must be my iPad. Anyway, the name would be helpful so I can google search it. Thanks!

Thanks for the link Roberth. Will be getting a tub of this stuff for sure. Especially for the thru hulls and their hoses. Never knew this existed. Amazing stuff.

This thread sold me. Picked up the bigger tub this last weekend. Having seen the promo and being relatively cheap I couldn't reason not having it onboard.

:bang WOW a no brainer. It sure does look the same as the toilet wax ring but for 20 bucks I'll buy that one for sure. I wouldn't want to be the one telling everyone the toilet ring did not work.
