How long did it take? What kind of paint did you use?

Thanks! Took me a year to finish just working weekends and in between my business travel. Also, I didn't have indoor storage, so all work on it was weather permitting which meant I didn't do too much over winter... I used Interlux Brightsides paint on the hull - sapphire blue to be exact.

I will be doing my first offshore trip in the boat in early August so I will let you know my thoughts on the Lowrance unit then.

Did you spray the paint?
How about the topsides, did you paint that too?

What about speed?
I have a 350 Mercruiser I/O.......I can cruise comfortably @ 30MPH..........wot ~ 40 MPH.

I sprayed the hull and used the roll and tip method on the top and decks.

Speed wise I am pretty much the same as you, comfortable 30mph cruise and around 41/42 at wot. I'm impressed how quickly she jumps up on the plane considering her weight.

Looks great, Shaun! Thank you for taking the time to put that post, with pics!, together.

What type of paint did you use in the cockpit? Something like Easypoxy?
