I got this gem of a boat in May 2014 and immediately took it Cobia fishing in the Gulf out of Panama City Beach...we did well averaging two fish per trip. (The boat won the Destin Cobia Tournament in 2009) After the Cobia season I hauled it and completely detailed the boat and revamped the electronics and electrical system along with a total motor tune/maintenance (runs like a charm WOT near 50 @ 5500rpm). Installed an additional 6 position blade fuse panel on the starboard panel by the drivers seat; Removed an old Foruno DF and Apelco Loran and replaced with a Raymarine Dragonfly combo unit backed up by a Garmin 386 GPS and Hummingbird PiranhaMax 173 FF. Left the Horizon Standard VHF alone because it works perfectly. Added upper station steering (hydraulic) and controls so it can easily be driven fom above. Also added forward spot and aft task lights; and, had to add an all-around light at the upper station because I could not find any indication it ever had a stern light. What a great riding boat for the bay or 20 miles out on a wreck...but its a shoreline Cobia hunter first and foremost...spot them from above...cast a jig...all hell breaks loose between 40 and 100 pounds of the best tablefare in the ocean. Been boating for over a half century (mostly Whalers and Sea Rays) and never been more satisfied with a vessel...can't beat a Grady White!!! :D
