I am New Jersey and fish out of Raritan Bay. What type of fish are you targeting?

Look for gradyfish on here havent seen him on here for a bit but he is very knowledgable as far as tuna in NJ goes.

I'm a jersey fisherman, out of Manasquan Inlet. I have't gone further north than the shrewsbury rocks, good spot for striper, sea bass, & fluke. For tuna your going to be heading ESE for closest place for you....I think might be the mud hole, but don't quote me on that, I'm not looking at the chart...

I fish out of Barnegat Inlet. We did well on Sunday near the Atlantic Princess. First we got covered in bluefish, went a few miles from the wreck and found many bluefin tuna. We did not measure many of them, but they were about 30-38" cfl. If you decide to go, make sure you get your NMFS tuna permit. Also keep in mind that as a recreational angler you are limited to taking one BFT per vessel that measures at least 27" curved fork length.
