i must have been luck with my last trailer. it was a venture carrying a 23ft welcraft. the trailer was 10+ years old when i got the boat and i had it for 9 years. i did exactly zero maintenance to it and had no problems. that being said, i am taking better care of my current trailer, haha

what about the intakes closer to the leading edge of the lower? they are under water in your pic. are you not concerned about them?

i plan to ditch my pulpit in the semi near future. all it does is obstruct view and like you said, interfere with the trailer winch. ill put on the shortest roller that allows the anchor to clear.

the triple axle trailers can be a pain to make tight turns with as you will get a lot more tire scrub. it will also be more maintenance time and cost. id recommend a solid two axle trailer for that boat over a three axle

if you get a tricycle, id get the cheapest one you can. she will probably figure out pedaling in about 10 minutes then switch to the bike. id even try to borrow a friends

depends on how you look at it. thats a fishing only mind set. my favorite thing is actually running the boat, just feeling the waves, hearing the spray, the sound of the motors. neither is right or wrong, just different ways to look at it.

i think you have exceptionally low hours per trip. i got out 10 or 11 times this year and probably put on the same number of hours as you. we dont run off shore at all (yet), just cruise around with the family, stop at a restaurant, or anchor and play in the water.
