after replacing the drain hoses and deck drains in my boat, i can tell you that it would have been easier to wrap with tape. at least the starboard side, the port side was a piece of cake. at least in my boat

if you are going to run the boat this season regardless, then yes, wrapping it with flex tape or something similar would help a bit. it may hold in a small leak and lessen the effects of a large failure. replacing is obviously the best way, and yes it is a major pain to do

did you put a loop in your discharge hose? or a check valve?

i have the original windshield from my 263 chase. no cracks or scratches. located in south east PA / north east MD area. i will also be in southern DE at various times over the summer. free to whoever wants it. if no interest, it will go in the trash next week.

whats so terrible about it? i have had no problem using it and the hat i bought is good quality.
