    As Hookup said, sharp sheetrock knife with new blade. The time consuming part was cleaning up the edges in preparation for reinstallation.

    The Garmin website is confusing. I went to a local dealer and he advised me that the AIS 800 displays it's data on the MFD. I could then choose any VHF, as I didn't need it to be AIS compatible.
