I've talked with my dealer concerning the 300's for my boat if I should run in to a similar situation and was told the boat would handle them. ( though my boat is 3 yrs newer). I have a question and I dont want to hijack your thread, what props are you running for the 4 blade and the pitch/cup...

I make that trip a couple of times each summer. scottm,Tashmoo and legend all offer great advice. Heading from Falmouth to Boston in the morning should be a great ride thru Woods Hole and Buzzards Bay but as Tashmoo stated make sure your familiar with Woods Hole. I'm probably telling you...

I had this issue, but the list was to the right. Fixed it by moving a battery towards the center line of the boat.

Ive got an express 33 and the family wants more sound. Any suggestions for speakers and/or location?

Sorry it took so long for the pictures. One battery was moved from the cluster of 4 (picture 1) to right behind the generator (picture 2). The specs from Grady allow for a list of 1/2 inch I believe. Moving mine was the first and, so far only, request that my dealer has dealt with.

just wanted to let you guys know I haven't forgotten to get a picture for you. I've been crazy busy at work and with a major snowstorm this past weekend I haven't been able to get to the boat. Soon I hope!

Tony, The boat is in inside storage. I'll be down there in the next few days and get a pic for you of the new battery location.

I know I'm a little behind here but I had the same thing. I couldn't stand a list on a brand new boat. The problem is the batteries all in one spot. The dealer moved one battery towards the starboard side, almost centerline and that took care of the list.

Tuna Man, I've only run the boat this past weekend with the guages out. My suggestion would be to get the dealer, Grady and Yamaha involved, just as they are with my boat. I don't believe we are the only owners to have this problem though it is very rare.

Kev, I dont have the plate but I did inquire about adding it. I Cataumet Boat said they could add one just like the factory's but it was pretty expensive for the amount of times I would use it. Mike

Thanks for the responses guys. The dealer has eliminated the boat as a source of the problem. Meaning the engine wiring harness must be the culprit. Yamaha has not given any meaningful input yet. The alarms still work and the engines run fine. ( trip from Falmouth to Boston this past weekend...
