Software guy, ran a company for 2 decades, done with that.
Fished all my life, started out with spinning rods on fresh water, moved on to fly fishing and never looked back for decades, loved it. Then life caught up to me and I have some nasty foot disease that nobody can diagnose. So no fly fishing for me :-(
I found a new friend a few years ago who took me out on the ocean, see the website, and I fell in love. The ocean is my new happy space. Made the mistake of buying my 1st boat 1st, got screwed, went to buy the 2nd boat and realized I can't take the money with me, so bought a brand new 228. It seems like the right boat for our waters but I'm new, we'll see.
Looking forward to learning about the 228 and slaying some fish. With the ramps closed from COVID-19, I called her "Driveway Slayer" but now that they are open "Gratitude" seems like a better name.
"Gratitude" is a 2020 Seafarer 228, custom pilot house, 250HP Yamaha, 9.9HP Suzuki, Garmin 8610xsv + 943xsv + auto pilot w/ dedicated display + radar + AIS transponder and usually has not enough fish. Which means I need to go fishing again soon!
