I removed the trim, sanded off the chalky phoney woodgrain. Under that was a nice looking brown color. Hit that with marine varnish installed it all with new screws and looks great. Can post photos if interested

Looking for a poly fuel tank for a 95 Adventure 20. Does anyone have these pre made to fit or does it need to be custom? Any recommendations regarding whom to contact?

The lites are fused at the block in the overhead box...did you check it with test lite ? I had same problem. Had a dead short in the power lead to the lites that run thru the hard top tubing. Impossible to access, so ran a new hot lead outside the hardtop tubing. Came out great

Most folks not happy with Starboard. I took off the faded Duratrim and sanded the wood grain decal off, down to a nice solid brown color and gave them a few coats of marine urethane. Used new screws and i think it looks great. Has held up really well. Can post some pics if you are interested.

What pitch and diameter prop are you running?

I had lots of problems with corrosion on the cheesy little pin connectors.....created all kinds of problems.....not saltwater rated as far as I'm concerned. When I put tabs on my next boat I didn't get the indicator for that reason.

Are you asking for trouble...yes. Scuppers will be under the waterline, and when u get two guys on the stern..oh boy! Hull not meant for that heavy an engine. HPDI is a great engine til it breaks....way too complicated and way too many parts for me. I have a 95 208 with an F200XB..it's excellent...

Make sure your engine height is correct...most are to low. Huge difference in performance when combined with the right prop. Cavitation plate should be at or close to water surface at speed.....check it out next time out.

Yup....3 holes are there, just couldn't figure out what size and thread. 10mm X 1.0 seem right but would stop after going in about 2 threads. No big deal pulling the bolts

The 3 empty holes in the flywheel are odd pitch thread. Flywheel bolts are 10 mm x 1.0 pitch. I just removed 3 bolts and will use those with longer bolts

Thanks Trapper! Hey, what size and thread are the bolts for your lifting eye? Did you use the the three empty holes on the flywheel or remove 3 flywheel bolts to attach?
