My new to me older Grady is pretty solid but on the deck I do have a couple spots with chipping gel coat. Things dropped, old, etc? They are spots about 1 square inch or smaller. Two to three spots. Also no the floor is not soft. Any recommendations on small repairs? Also does anyone have any mating or decking installed to protect it further?

Thanks

I have had good luck with Spectrum Gel Coat patch kits. I have used them on the Grady and previous Boston Whalers. As long as there is no damage to fiberglass below, it is a simple fix. Lots of videos on youtube. I found the color match to be pretty good, even on my 25 year old GW.

Last year I made some repairs to some minor trailer damage on the forward keel of my '95 Sailfish. I used the TotalBoat 2 part Gelcoat and that seemed to do well for the repair, but I did not even attempt to color match the existing gelcoat, so that may be something worth researching.

I don't know if TotalBoat is considered a good brand for quality/price, but it worked well for me.
