    Yes, I have a F26 97 model Tiger cat. I just put new motors on the boat. The yamaha 200 hp 4 strokes. My question is when at a idle or slow speed the steering is very easy, But when on a plain running the steering is very stiff. Does anyone know why??

    May have to raise the engine one hole on the transom mounting bolts. When the motor is too low, steering gets tough on plane and shoots lots of water out the sides of the lower unit at high speed.
