    330 Express - F250's - Prop Selection

Cavitation Thanks for the tip. I had the PowerTeck guy recommend a 4-blade prop also. Right now, I'm going alot easier on the trim tabs to see if that cures the problem and still maintains enough comfort in heavier seas. Your boat looks great!

    GW 275 Tournament Handling/Steering

Prop performance T-150's on 275 Tournament I have now tried 3 sets of props with interesting results..... The 1st set is the Yamaha RELIANCE 14 1/4 x 17. Top rpm: 5500: top speed, 43mph. Best economy and cruise speed to rpm: a little cavitation in med. to heavy seas : no idle rattle...

    GW 275 Tournament Handling/Steering

GW 275 Handling Thanks for the replies and advice. Trim tab sensitivity is a likely problem source. I am also used to bringing the bow down in a sea condition which makes the problem worse and even brings on some cavitation. Have you adjusted the engine steering tab zincs or are they at neutral?

    GW 275 Tournament Handling/Steering

I have a new-to-me '07 275 Tournament w/T Yamaha 150's and am experiencing some strange steering behavior from this beast. The boat is roll-sensitive and steers unpredictably to speed changes when the trim tabs are down. Changes in engine trim angle in the mix causes more uncertainty. I know...

    GW 275 Tournament Cavitation Problem

GW Props I experienced some cavitation right after I bought the boat and decided to change the painted 13.75" x 17" SS props. I now have Yamaha Reliant series polished SS props on the boat. They perform much better but still cavitate, altho not as much. Thanks for the thoughtful responses. 8)

    GW 275 Tournament Cavitation Problem

I have a newly acquired 2007 GW 275 powered by twin Yamaha 150's. Performance is great except for some cavatation in a following sea. This occurs with the engines fully tilted down. Any uptrrim makes it much worse. The engines are set at one bolt hole space higher than the lowest setting...
