I'm making one for my Makrolon side panels. Front panel stays - only removed for trailering.

Here are some pictures. This is front panel only. No side panels to give you an idea of clarity/visibility. Side panel installed showing sun tan lotion damage. All panels just cleaned with Windex and 210. Ignore reflections on side panel and glass. Look at the one piece front panel.

The hard panels are .060 Makrolon polycarbonate, it's clearer to some degree but the big difference is there is no distortion since it's a hard flat panel. The canvas shop said it's easier to maintain, more scratch resistant, and will last longer so we'll see. It was an expensive upgrade...
