    swim ladder for Gulfstream

That style is a dime a dozen - you can find them at just about any marine store and multiple places online. Windline, Garelick, Jif, to name a few. It looks like you have room to upgrade to a 4-step ladder if you wanted.

1998 Grady White 208 leaking from Hose under Helm

Is the speedometer in the cubby that the hose drains? If so, the pitot tube is either disconnected from the speedo, or has broken/cracked. That would be my first thought - check into that.

180 with Honda 150, how would I lock the Teleflex steering?

I don't know what "regular" teleflex means, but if you got it figured out, good.

180 with Honda 150, how would I lock the Teleflex steering?

Can you use ratchet straps? Cut pieces of PVC to slip over the steering rams? Not sure exactly what steering setup you have, though, without a pic.

    Scupper and Scupper Hose Replacement

SS is not allowed/approved for anything below the waterline. If the fitting is completely above the water and will never sit below the water, that should be fine. However, bronze is still a superior product.

    Binoculars

Skunk, just in case you didn't know this... one of the eye pieces is typically adjustable independent of the main focus to compensate for slightly different vision from eye to the other.

Coast Guard: Vessel Kill Switches Required By Law Starting Next Month

Ha! Unless they try and board you while still on plane, EVERYONE is at a standstill when getting boarded! Like Bill said, I imagine this isn't going to be high up on a CG officer's priority list. Probably will be used more during questioning after an accident for the insurance companies to...

Coast Guard: Vessel Kill Switches Required By Law Starting Next Month

Hmmm. Good point, Bill. I think you're right. I suppose someone with a pre-2020 boat could remove it if they were so inclined, though. That would really be silly to go to that extreme, but hey... there are people refusing to get the covid vaccine because they believe "they" are putting...

Coast Guard: Vessel Kill Switches Required By Law Starting Next Month

It appears, if I read it correctly, the law (the mandate to have an ECOS installed) is only applicable to boats made after Jan 1, 2020. So if you're operating a boat made prior to that, you wouldn't have to wear it since the boat is not required to have it. But as most of us would agree, there...

    Windshield glass replaced ?

Joe & Denko... is glass actually pitted? Can you actually "sand down" the glass? I've used fine steel wool for some hard water staining in the past, but never when it's got to the point of pitting/etching.

    Random Aux Power Cord???

Something a previous owner used at one time. Remove it. Case closed.

    Windshield glass replaced ?

Yeah, I really don't know any way of removing it if it's actually etched/pitted. Cover your left eye while driving? :)

    Group 31 Batteries in a Seafarer 228?

Take some cardboard and make a "battery" based on the manufacturers dimensions. Heck of a lot easier than trying it with real batteries.

    Windshield glass replaced ?

If the glass you're talking about is flat, check around for a local glass shop - they can duplicate it.

    Gas Gauge wont power up

Ha! Glad to know that people "think" I still got it... guess I'm doing a pretty good job of faking it... oops... ;) Also, Lethies... assuming the gauge is the Yamaha multifunction gauge... it takes a few seconds for the fuel bars to start to slowly move.

    Gas Gauge wont power up

And a vacuum tube disconnected? What do you think, Seasick? That sounds like the tube for the speedo. Hopefully the other end is also disconnected or he's going to get a stream of water pouring down on his feet! Lethies, is this a new to you boat? Or have you owned the boat for a while and...

    Marlin 300 - Trim Tab/Plane Replacement

I said "relatively" isolated. What I meant was that, although you had it happen twice in a year... and granted that is strange... it's by far the "rarity", not the norm. Logically, there's a better explanation for this than a defect/break. Are you sure the ram mount is intact? I would expect...
