I remember seeing a spec somewhere but I can't remember where that was. The weight rating was either 200 or so pounds if I remember correctly. That said, it would be advisable to check the integrity of the straps and hardware as part of routine annual maintenance.

Mine 'last' several or more years but in reality, they get stiff fairly quickly. They continue to drain but don't seal as well as when new. I do agree that replacing every year is overkill.
