    Grady White 265 Express

I am running 3 blades and get about 14 GPH at 3800, 24ish knots. Looking for some stern lift since everyone is always in the cockpit when running

    282 Sailfish FS

Hey Bill - hope you guys are doing well! Getting ready to sell that awesome Jeep you sold me. Wish I would have known you were selling your Sailfish- someone got a great boat! Was thinking of moving up from my 265, but then my daughter decided to get married! Happy Holidays! Greg

Looking for 265 Grady White Expeess

Trailering a 265 is a chore. Really need a 3/4 ton. She’s a plus sized model for sure. Just dragging mine around town for service, gas, etc is a challenge, but doable. Love mine.

    Fuel fill labels

Love to find some new labels for my 265, anyone know where to find something similar to the original?

    Vent Window

If you’re missing the black metal frame part as well as the glass it makes it a little trickier, the metal piece ( I think it’s called an extrusion) is hard to find. I ended up getting mine from Marine Glass Specialties in FL. He has the OEM GW extrusions. He probably has done a Sailfish before...

    2001 282 sailfish re power?

The only bad thing I’ve heard about them is the year plus wait! They would be awesome on my 265 Express.

Looks Like I'm the Newest Member to the Club-Transom Restoration Begins

OP- off topic but how do you like those new Merc’s? I hear great things about them ( other than the 53 week lead time currently). Would be a perfect match for my 265 Express.

I need one of these for my vent window

I am an idiot- thanks for the info. Could not figure out what it was called so my searches where fruitless.

Starboard Low Oil Alarm - Where to Start

Also- ditch the Yamalube and switch to Penzoil XLF. Burns much cleaner and is cheaper. I get mine at WalMart. Making this switch and using Yamaha Ring free will make a big difference

Starboard Low Oil Alarm - Where to Start

Lots of info on this topic over on THT. I am with Skunkboat, go ahead and replace the oil filter and inspect pump on tank, if it looks bad they aren’t too expensive to replace. I had a devil of a time getting this issue sorted out on my 01 HPDI’s. Went ahead and replaced remote tank pumps, those...

    Sending unit glue / compound

Personally I’d bite the bullet and get the fuel professionally polished. I bought a 265 that the prior owner hadn’t used the Aux tank in 13 years. Was about 1/2 full ( 130 gal tank). Was about $400.00. USA Fuels did it, I think they are nationwide. To answer your question. I used this stuff and...

    Can't find a source. I'm at a roadblock.

I recently had to contact Marine Glass Specialties for a side vent window with the extrusion piece you are referring to. 2001 265. Apparently George is out with some medical issues and Tex is covering. He got right back to me and took care of what I needed. Since it was the second one I have...

    Fuel sender valve and gasket

I replaced the senders in my 265 last year. Totally destroyed the Rivnuts holding the screws in, had to replace about 5 of them. Be careful with them. Self-inflicted SNAFU, for sure.

    Honda 225 beep

Mine would idle fine up to about 3500 all day long but once I got above that, she’d alarm

    Honda 225 beep

When I was chasing my overheat issue on my BF 225, I took my heat gun and ran it until it alarmed, then I was able to determine which cylinder bank was overheating based on my heat gun readings. Turned out it was a stuck thermostat on one side. While you’re under the hood, check the T-stat...
