Hi guys, anyone know How to inspect a Yamaha Outboard for mid-section exhaust corrosion? It's really common on early 225hp and some 250hps. I have one, they say it's been done but who knows. I know this is a common motor on many Grady's. Thanks

I've seen them are hardcore fishing boats. Great to have that side light for hunting for a shrimp or crab pot in the evening too. Also docking leaving, entering etc. Lights are cheap these days!

3/8" is ideal. I have 1/2" acrylic and it's overkill. Though it's stronger than starboard. The stock Grady clear covers are 1/4.

For me it was very easy. I cut out the rigging tube, that only had one active wire and ran in around the front side of the space. Used plastic wire clamps so I can easily add wires in the future. No need for a rigging tube since I have a giant hatch instead. Anything you can dream of can...

Well actually the holding tank is the port a pot, no external tank. I think it's about 2 gallons. I do have the option of pushing a button and pumping overboard. But Yes, it would cost alot to install all of that, I'd go with a $110 portapot if you want the basic function.
