My Yamaha dealer in Charleston replaced my rods in my PT 4 blade because I had vibration at idle speed. Haven't tried out the new rods yet, but seemed like an easy replacement.
PO that had boat before I bought it, put a pilates ball inside then inflated it. I take it out ever so often and clean out the inside. Still using the ball.
I'm a Maui Jim fan personally. I have prescription Peahi with gray lenses that have worked well for me. I started out with Costas but switched when I tried on a pair of Maui's,, never went back to Costas.
Running Simrad on my 228, been happy with it. Have the Halo 24 radar also, no issues. It's mounted on a Battlewagon pedestal with 4° down angle, no problem spotting targets.

I didn't want a white motor actually. The Yamaha blue goes with the Grady-White gunmetal blue in the logo, just needed the chrome letters on the motor. Here's the finished pics.
Must be age or a touch of redneck or both, but I've always liked the new Yamaha's with the chrome letters. Only way to get that from factory is with the electronic steering, which I don't have. I had my dealer order all the chrome pieces and I'm changing over myself. Should go well with my new...
