I actually called them on Monday morning. It was about mid-day before a salesman called me back. He said they had a sea trial set up for later in the week. He said he would call me if the guy passed on it. I never have received a call and you say the ads are gone so the guy must have bought it.

It's pretty strange that they don't list the hours on the motors and there is no description, like is the trailer included.

If this was real, I would buy it today.

I have always understood that a good rule of thumb for a starting set-up is, on a standard transom the anti-ventilation plate should be 1/2 to 3/4 inch above the keel/transom junction, when the anti-vent plate is parallel with the keel. For a stepped transom such as you show in your pictures...

Don't assume that the threaded holes in the lower bracket holes is 1/2" x 13 tpi , just because the nuts on the top bolts are that size. It could be that the top holes were threaded at one time and the threads were damaged so the bracket was drilled out and 1/2 inch bolts installed. You may have...
