Fuel guage come on with key?

Anyone eliminate the fuel guage switch, andmake it so it just comes on with the key? I want to see my fuel level when I start the engine or turn the key on. I don't want to have to flip a switch and remember to shut it off. Boat is '89 204c Overnighter, Thanks

    Anyone paint their dash?

Would like to see some ideas on painted dashes. My dash has too many screw holes drilled into it here and there in the past from electronics. I want to fill the screw holes in with epoxy or something like Evercoat Formula 27 filler, sand it down and paint. Thinking of rolling it on since it...

    NJ fishing reports

Skunkboat that is Trader's Cove Marina^^...small world, I launched there 7-8 times last season. Great ramp there, lots of water and good staff. Any of you guys fish, crab, and/or clam in the Raritan Bay? I may be losing my spot further south on the Barnegat Bay where I do all three and may have...

    Bowmount Flagpole for 204c Overnighter

Wow that sucks, good idea on the tether though. I need it more for wind direction and docking purposes more than for looks, so I figured it was best visible there and out of the way.

    Bowmount Flagpole for 204c Overnighter

I have a hole which looks factory on the very tip of my bow rail where the 2 sides come together. I'm guess it's for a flagpole. I have an '89 Overnighter. Anyone know which flagpole is supposed to have to fit in that hole? Thanks

    Grady 204C Fuel tank height

Alright I'll have to do that then. I can see the sender under the round access plate and I'm pretty sure I can get a ratchet on the 5 little screws, but the sender isn't directly under the access plate. Does the whole tank panel need to be removed or do guys mostly remove the senders by just...

Grady 228 - Bow Ladder for Launch and Retrieve

I do the same thing. Sounds nuts, but I use the spare tire as a step to get up on the bow of the boat. I even stand up on the top part of the trailer where that rubber cap is. But I agree, a set of steps on the trailer would be nice. On the way back in I have to lay flat and lean down over the...
