An interesting problem to think about....

95 208, recently Repowered with an F200. When running along, when you grab the wheel ( stainless stock Grady) and your hands are wet and you have a cut somewhere on that hand, you get an electrical zap...a good one, not just a tingle. Dry hands, cut or no cut, no problem . No electrical...

    1993 208 adventure pondering repower

I have a 95 208 with the Yamaha F200 4cyl. 4 stroke. The engine was built for older hulls that need repowering. It's a perfect match....performance, weight and the fuel economy will make you very happy compared to the old 2 stroke

    208 Adventure repower options

I have the F200XB (4 cyl) on my 208. It's fabulous....plenty of power, no weight issues, great fuel economy.... doubled my range over the old 175 2 stroke, top end about 45 mph, which like you I don't care about. I'd do it again....go for it!

    plastic wood trim looks lousy

I didn't do anything under the hard top or around the helm...still in good shape. Sanding in place had to be tough. I added a coat of polyurathane over the top of the vanish for added durability. Post a pic of what you did...love to see.

    plastic wood trim looks lousy

Ok....got sick and tried of looking at the faded, sunburned duratrim. Seemed like finding a suitable product to replace it was going to be difficult. I like what a lot of you guys did, so decided to take it all off. I sanded off the ugly wood grain to see what was...

Adventurer 208 gas tank volume shortage

My 95 208 wouldn't fill completely. I have an aluminum tank. Problem is the filler and the vent are at the front of the tank. If the boat on the trailer is low in front or even level, it's impossible to fill. I reconfigured the trailer bunks so that the boat sits bow hi on the trailer....problem...
