Hello, I ave 2006 marlin . I cleaned my strainers for 1st time while my boat was on a boatlift. went out thisweekend and the ac is not pulling in the raw water for cooling. could the fact that i messed with the strainer affected the ac raw water pump?

Thanks El Jefe. do you have generator in back? I folded down rear panel, but i barely got a finger tip on stainer top. generator does get in way. I had to cut out caulk , open rear panel and then recaulk when done. major pain in the but. maybe ill get one of my thinner friends to try your way...
