I have it mounted on the third hole, prop is 3 x 16 x 18 1/2 ,and half a tank of fuel two guys gear ,I have got 52 miles an hour @6 rpm ,35 mph @43rpm . 40 mph @ 48 rpm. Does that sound right to you handles very well very responsive getting around 3.5miles per gallon at 35 mph

Also by raising it one hole ,the plate above the prop is now maybe 1 inch above keel

Thank you so much for your reply and I did raise it one hole and it improves steering at low speed tremendously but steel under water by inch and a half or two should I or would you raise yours another hole thanks

I’m new to this site so bare with me Just repowered a 2006 fisherman with aSuzuki 250 . Can any tell me we’re the cav. Plate should be in ref to keel, because when on plane it is two inches below water level. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
