Hello all Recently replaced the switch. However, the original switch had some sort of semi perm putty it was seated with into the housing. I was able to push the switch out and replace it, but dont have an idea of what putty was used and will need reseat the new switch. any putty advise?

engines are 2001 YAMI swII 200’s. I do have a small leak at the ram seal of my hydraulic steering, but don’t believe they are related and will fix the seal when I pull the boat.

Cover has never seen water and was used in my driveway for only 2 days. Bought it for dry storage and ended up mooring at the marina instead. Covers from bow pulpit, over hardtop to over twin outboards. I also have extra straps. Will post specs soon.
