    Gas vent hose replacement

I just replaced all the fuel lines from the tank to the motor on a 89 204. Single 80 gal. tank, 2 hatches. Had to cut an access hole behind the Port stern seat back to access the hose clamps on the Fill hose. Forget about getting to the clamps on the last 1 ft of vent hose, luckily it was in...

    WEMA Sender Sealant

As mentioned, over tightening could cause a leak. I use OMC or Mercury liquid sealers when I replace any senders. I would loosen it back up, put a coat of sealer on the tank surface and re-mount it. Tighten evenly and snug. I've done many without leaks. Matt

should bottom painting include bottom of engine?

As mentioned above, DO NOT use Copper based bottom paints on Aluminum. In the yard, we use Interlux Tri-Lux 33. I brush it on, 2 coats. Your getting all pigment versus aerosol where its thinned to be able to spray. Spray is good for getting the areas the brush can't get. Capt. Matt

    Trailering a 272 sailfish

I might need to pick up a 97 272 sailfish in Delaware and bring it back to Jersey. It can go by trailer or water. What would be your choice? If trailering, would I need any special permits? How long would it take by water to bring it up to Atlantic City? Any other info I might need? Thanks.

Tuna man is correct. I have a Honda EU2000 myself that I use in my marine business. In Eco mode, the motor runs at its factory set slow rpm. When a demand for power is applied, the rpm's increase on surge and will drop to where they need to be for that load. If maximum powere is constantly...
