    the cost of the motors is not a concern. I know I'll never recoupe the money. The main thing is extending the range of the boat. I would prefer the f250. I just see alot of boats with the 225's and wondered if there was an issue with the 250's. Does yamaha make the SHO in a counter rotating motor?

    Which Seafarer to choose????

    It all depends on the condition of the hull on the 89. If it's solid and no crazing go for it. You could probably do a little better than $20000. I would offer $17000. It is a buyers market.
