We would like to add a trolling motor to our Fisherman 216. Wondering whether it is more trouble than it’s worth. The mechanics are pricing out a MinnKota (not sure of model yet) to be installed on a metal plate next to anchor compartment and and recommending 3 batteries to be located in tiny...

Just hoping to learn from the more mechanically knowledgeable... I am buying a new trolling motor for my ‘93 Adventure 208. (also new bracket, currently has neither). I have already decided to buy a Yamaha F8 or F9.9 with electric start. As far as I can tell there are only 2 differences...
