180 with Honda 150, how would I lock the Teleflex steering?

Going to be trailering for the first time, my old boat had a Honda 25, I just bungeed the steering wheel in a centered position but I don't think that will work with a 150. Any ideas?

If your steering box is a no-feedback model, the motor won't turn.
How are you going to support the tilted motor?
Assuming you are trailering wit the motor tilted up, you need some sort of hold down to keep the motor from flopping up and down. Whatever that support is, it will usually also keep the motor from turning (which it won't anyway with NFB steering.
So how do you know if you have NFB. Pretty easy, try turning the motor by hand at the motor. If the steering wheel doesn't turn and the motor doesn't really rotate, you have NFB steering.

Unfortunately I do not have NFB. In the Trailer up down thread though there's an idea invovling a 2x4 that should work

Can you use ratchet straps?

Cut pieces of PVC to slip over the steering rams? Not sure exactly what steering setup you have, though, without a pic.

I used the My-Wedge and the Gator steering stops. Less than $100 but it worked well for my trip home from FL. Gator is a 5" steering stop. Most other brands are 4".

Regular Teleflex. I just threw a bungee around one of the spokes on the wheel and then each end to the leaning post, seems to be holding fine.

I don't know what "regular" teleflex means, but if you got it figured out, good.

Basic Teleflex with extension on the port side only, I could only block the port side
