Hey guys , so I just purchased a 84 , 24 offshore in September 2020. This is my first full season with it. It's a notched/open transom. Previous owner replaced the transom splash guard with a shorter on, not the folding one. Is it something I should be considered with? Used the boat quite a few times and haven't had an issue but was wondering if I should look for the original splash guard or build one similar to the original. Thanks
