Hello all. I recently purchased a 1984 Trophy 259 (I think it's the 259; it's the outboard version). I got in touch with the GW factory and they sent me the manual for the boat--which turned out to be a single manual for all the boats that GW produced that year! It's a bit of a novelty but I did get all the capacities and boat measurements from it.
I am interested in possibly replacing the gas tanks, as the previous owner fished it hard offshore for years. Are there any Trophy owners here who undertook this process, who might be able to enlighten me about doing this? Namely, are the tanks accessible by taking the hatches off or does the deck have to be cut? Any other info you feel would help as a new Trophy owner is most welcome! Thanks!
