What is the purpose of the fuel switch located on the gauge/switch panel of my 88 tournament 190?

Switches the fuel amount display on the tach. You still have to manually switch from main to auxillary tanks.

SZ Thank You for the quick reply... To the best of my knowledge, my fuel level is not displayed within my Tach (1988 model), I have a separate factory analog fuel gauge and I installed a digital Standard fuel flow gauge for performace numbers.

My old 204 had that swtich too. Turned the fuel gauge on and off if I remember correctly.

I rewired it to come on with the ignition when I did the new gauge panel.

Turning the switch on will only power up the fuel gauge...unless somebody already messed with it...or I'm just plain wrong about it's functionality.

This must be different than the Seafarer. Its used to switch the display between aux and main tanks. Its really strange to find an on/off switch for the fuel gauge.

GW204 is on it, since only one tank, it turns on and off, your fuel gauge.

For some reason, marine fuel gauges on would not always be on, like car fuel gauges.
