Just purchased a very nice 1996 Saifish 272. I am having a new lift installed and contacted customer support at Grady White to query the recommended spacing of the bunks. They quickly sent me back a diagram of where to position boat on the 12' length bunks. I am using a 4 post 16K Boat Lift US with 14' wide aluminum beams. GW recommended 22" spacing on center. Lift will not be ready for a few more days. Just curious, has anyone had any experience with this type of bunk setup. Thanx....

Lift was finished today and want to provide some feedback. Bunks were set at 90 degree angle, 26" on center. Resulting in approx 8 inches from center keel port and strbd. I called GW again to double check their original recommendation of 22" in center spacing and they told me depending on the height of the bunks that spacing may very several inches. The aft portion of the 12' bunks clear the thru hull transducer by 3". I will try and post some pics for those that may be interested.
