We recently purchased a 2008 30' Marlin. I noticed there are several hairline stress cracks on the interior cabin area specifically on the fiberglass linning (paneling) area mainly on the ceiling. Does anyone else have this issue? Advice? Is this typical for these molds? I noticed a few at first but now I notice quite a few....

I phoned GW and spoke with their customer service rep and sent pics. They told me that it was uncommon with the Marlins. They initially seemed responsive but I have 'nt heard a word from them even after a few follow up calls for quite some time. I noticed that the interior caulking job from the factory wasn't very impressive as we had to re-caulk several areas either because it appeared messy or was peeling off. There were a few other minor issues but a nice boat otherwise. :uhm

Thanks,
Dave

Yes it is a common issue and GW has been fixing it under warrantee..even on much older boats. I had mine fixed last year and you cant tell where the repair was done. Keep calling GW CS and your dealer. They will address it.

Call your dealer and let them take care of it. If they balk, then call GW customer service....
