Where is the access to get behind the GPS space in the dash. Or do I have to remove the units them self?

On earlier versions with the fiberglass flush mount cover, there were that allowed access.
I'd see if you can see any near the padded section. Also shoot GW Cust Service an inquiry over the net. I'm sure they will explain.
