Just bought a 1983 seafarer 226. Trying to learn more about it before upgrading all the wiring and gages. Does anybody have a detailed owners or repair manual? Thanks.

Some are archived on the GW site. This seems to be the earliest Seafarer manual available there. Some things will be useful.

Not sure why they don't have a 1983, but they do have a 1984, though it's not model specific.
