i HAVE A 1988 230 GULFSTREAM. Looking to add freshwater washdown. Is it easy to tap into the freshwater tank that already exists onboard? Its located under port side chair thanks

The location of the actual washdown fixture and the location of the fresh water pump makes a difference. For example if you want the washdown aft and the pump is under the deck near the cabin, the job will be harder then if the pump were located aft.
The washdown fixture has to be connected using a tee fitting somewhere in the output side of the wash down pump. The design is pretty simple, the im[implementation may not be as easy if the pump is hard to get to.

This is what I used when I put in the wash down, it plumbed on top of the seacock and gives you another fitting on the bottom for raw water. Keep in mind you still need filter and pump for the fresh water but I bet you already knew that. Good Luck!

I had assumed that there already was a fresh water fixture in the cabin. That scenario is a lot different than one where there is just a tank and if so, there already is a pump somewhere. If there isn't an existing fixture, I wouldn't expect there to be a tank.
