Hey Guys just finished buying a 2007 305 Express with twin 250 Yams on it this weekend. Was out today getting used to handling and docking it and was very happy with it.My question is best rpm and trim for this boat .Thanks
Congrats on the new boat. As far as best RPM, the gauges are your best friend. Switch the display to MPG and the highest number you see(between 25 and 35 MPH range), that would be your best cruise speed and best RPM. At the end of day comming back home hit some WOT(for a minute), those F250's love it and cleans everything out(my pinion).
I have a Gulfstream 232 with twin 200's and in calm water( a rare occurrence) I trim out to 3 bars at between 3600 and 4000 RPM.
In rougher conditions, I trim down a bit as the stern is coming further out with the waves passing underneath.
