Wondering what other 306 Captains do for rod storage. I fish off the South Shore of MA in MA and CC Bay. We fish for tuna, bass, blues, etc. and have lots of different setups for different styles. I find my new (to me) Canyon 306 lacking in storage and wonder what others do.

The under gunwale storage, while it has 3 spaces, is only good for 2 as the gunwale rod holders block the top spot. I have the optional rocket launchers behind the helm seats, but together with the t top, its only 8 total. Most of our rods are 7" or 7'6" and don't stand up in the console...

With gaffs, net, harpoon, etc. Where do you guys store everything?

I have a 265 express so you have even more room !!!

I added rod grommets to the forward bulkhead and a piece of mahogany with holes for the butts.

Nice! I have a CC so no cabin to work with...
sorry, I was thinking you had a 30 express but thats a 305.

You are going to have to get the hole saw out and put in some gunnel rod holders (with drains to the cockpit).
On CCs I've also seen where they flush mount rod holders to the sides of the console and put holes in the top for longer rod tips
