i was reading an older copy of saltwater which had the formula to calculate prop slip. i don't have my actual numbers, so i used the yamaha performance bulletin. at 3,500 rpm, the prop slip calculates at 30%! the article said 10% was optimum.

anybody with the same rig do their calculations?

will the new 4 blade props that yamaha is coming out with improve this?

thx, ron
