just wanted to see what other 360 owners have changed/modified? and what still needs done. so here is my list of changes, and what needs fixing

I moved the drop curtains to just behind the seats, now they stay there and it works just like a sport fisher. also changed those back curtains to hard plastics-and made the center swing up and zipper to the netting-works really well

changed the red rope/red LED light to white- it is very cool

added a hand rail that is welded to the hardtop, but runs along/mirrors the curve of the windshield-great for kids to hold on to

raised the companion seat up 6"-what an improvement you can see over the windshield!

added hot water to the rear shower (the girls love this)

looking to solve the following:

there has got to be a better way to access the wash down/live well. under the bed cushion stinks. is there such a thing as a motor that opens the valve when you turn in on and closes it after? how about cutting a access panel in the foot well?

plastic around the helm-this needs to be hard- but at 4K it has too wait!

not catching as much fish as i would like-don't think this is the boat!

so, what are your changes and ideas.

overall the 360 is really close to perfect for me.

Problem with 360

Just purchased a 360 with trip-350. New to boating (this year). 360 is a good boat. However, having a few new boat problems and wanted to see if anyone has solutions...there's a leak over the berth sleeping area, hot water heater not working, refridgerator beeping and cabinets coming out of the slots. Also, wondering if I can use a Y adapter for shore-power vs. using two shore power and if I really should use 2 and why. Others with knowledge and their response would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, a good boat and nice compliments from other boaters...

Leak...Check the hatches over the berth but my $ is on the stantions that support the hardtop.

Hot water heater - Leave it on for a long time ...It takes a long while to heat up...Otherwise could be a fuse

Shore power - You don't even need the y adaptor unless you are drawing more than 30 Amps. Just turn on shore power #1 and then use the "Transfer" switch next to shore power #2. You only need both if you are using more than 30 amps at once. To do that you need to have the fridge on, AC, cooler boxes, water heater, microwave....You get the idea. If you need all that on just turn something off while you use the other. I.E. turn off the cooler boxes while you use the microwave.

Wow - great site and much better than the reponse from my marina ("we'll look into it and get back to you next week...").

While I am asking: the fuel gauge reads "full" all the time (I do not have a swith on panel for main/aux). My boat (new 2009) did not come with a cutting board with the outside sink and wondering if I should have gotten one (like on 330s). Recommendations for light for driving at night. Any suggested or must upgrades. What to do with humidity - to leave the air on low or to get a humidifier and what kind. I use the boat couple weekends a month. Many thanksss.

360

the fuel gauge will begin to fall, both tanks are shown there, wont take long! use the AC, my suggestion. did not get cutting board either, that would be nice, guess you have to make one.

The fuel gauges have an idiosyncrasy that MAT be what is going on in your boat. If one tank is nearly empty the gauge for that tank will read whatever the other tank gauge reads until you put more fuel in it. They are electronically measured using voltage so it isn't a stuck float issue. On my boat if the Aux. tank is empty and the main has fuel the aux. gauge reads whatever is in the main until I add at least 20 gallons or more.

I prefer a cheap dehumidifier over using the AC only because it will save the AC unit some life in the long run. However, the AC will work better overall.

Thank you. Have you thought about getting the new glass option? I am debating whether I should purchase the glass enclosure this winter. I plan to decide after using the boat this season.

Also, does your diesel generator shut down and not restart until after an hour of cooling down. I have used the generator about 10 hrs, and it has shut down twice where I had to let it cool. The valves are all pulled up.

I absolutely HATE the new glass option...I don't like the looks and I would rather have the option of rolling up the side curtains to control airflow.

Your Genset should not do that - Have it looked at.

360 issues

never had that issue with my generator, get it checked. also, the glass...no way. look into the EZ2C products. i have it on my back curtain and it is great. I would like to change the enclosure, but $ becomes the issues. you really want to be able to open up the helm area, i do roll up the side frequently. you can get the panels to swing up and attach to the hard top would would get you the best of both. if you do this, keep me posted on how it works.

Some GW owners complain that the canvas option for the hardtop does not work under heavy wet conditions and water drips into the cabin area through the canvas connection to the windshield. Very irritating. You might want to at least test drive the new hard top cabin and see for yourself before making the decision.

Good luck.

You do get a few drips from time to time but on the 360 the top canvas piece is very small. You won't be out ion conditions that cause this problem very often.....Trust me...

Thanks for all the info. I think air from the side and the ability to open the canvas is a big plus. I am wondering if GW sold any boats with the glass enclosure?

Recommendations for light for driving at night.

You mentioned previously that you are new to boating.

Are you asking about light in the helm area? Shouldn't be any, and ALL the instrument lights/backlighting should be reduced, to protect your night vision. Light from the cabin or cockpit can also kill your night vision.

Are you asking about "head lights" like on a car? Not used on boats. Dangerous, lubberly, illegal. BRIEF, INTERMITTENT use of a directional spot light to illuminate markers, etc is acceptable.

Respectfully recommend you consider taking a basic boating course, such as offered by the U.S. Power Squadron, to complement your new purchase.

Great. Thanks for the info. I do have a capt with me most of the time when boating; however, I am learning to appreciate asking questions on this site as I am finding the answers more insightful. I guess that's from the collective knowledge of many.

Do you recommend the night or thermal vision, etc for the boat? I know larger boats generally have them. Wondering if it's something necessary as I start heading out to fish early in the morning, coming back late, etc.

I have been day fishing but hope to start fishing at night, poor weather, etc. in the near future.

This from a guy who owns one. Many a time I have spent the time to rollup all my curtains and hated the extra time I have to take going out and coming in, so i appreciate your perspective.

Living in S Florida, there is little option but to roll it all up, or you sweat to death.
