4.3L Motor Plate Info.

Hi Everyone,
I have a 1989 25' Sailfish with twin 4.3L OMC's with 4 Barrels in it. I can't find the Motor Model, Spec. Plate or Serial numbers anywhere on either rdd Motor. Can anyone point me in the direction to find this info.?
Over eff the winter I want yo research and buy new ignition parts to ge tg rid of the points and Condenser.

I can't say for sure on OMC's, but on Merc's, the engine serial number is on a small, metal plate - directly aft of and above the starter.

You could also contact a Grady dealer - or maybe Grady directly - I would think they would know, based on your HIN. They should be able to give you the drive serial number, too.
