Repowering my 2008 Sailfish soon with the new Yamaha f300’s. What performance / fuel numbers should I expect? Thanks in advance.

Without knowing the prop specs, can't say what is likely. What motors are on the boat now?
You should of least have information on current config and performance.
In addition, what are you looking for e.g. speed hole shot, fuel economy etc?

I don't think the 282 was ever outfitted with 300s. However, the performance will likely be similar to a 285 if properly set up. You can see numbers for the 285 on the GW website. I'd guess 2-3 mph less on the top end and 0.1 - 0.2 less mpg at cruise.
On another note, I'm a bit surprised GW offers the 285 with 350s. A 60 mph bow rider is nucking-futs! I feel like GW is getting a little too caught up in the marketing game that car manufacturers play. What looks good on paper sells to the uninformed, while being a safety risk to those on board. Maybe GW will start offering seat belts and air bags? The average safety conscious consumer is all-about those = more profit!

The above is simply incorrect about a 282 Sailfish not ever being outfitted with 300's, considering that in 2004 on up until 2008 when they stopped making the 282 Sailfish, they all had a maximum of 600 hp, per the brochure. I know there is at least one forum member on here that has a 282 Sailfish with twin 300's on it, maybe they'll stop in and give you some feedback. If not, here's a performance bulletin from Yamaha with a 285 Freedom and twin F300's on it, which I'm thinking is going to put you over 50 mph pretty easily. Not exactly apples to apples or anything, but it'll give you a ball park figure, and you can always call/email Grady White to ask them for a performance bulletin for a 282 Sailfish with twin F300's on it.
