Does anyone know the fuel capacity for a 91 25ft Dolphin? I am getting different answers. I have been told 210 gallons as well as 240 gallons. Also I can't find much history on the Dolphin line in general. Can anyone fill me in?

According to their 1991 catalog -

The 250 Dolphin, (notched transom) and the 253G, (bracket) have 2 fuel tanks. A 150 and a 90, for a total of 240.

The 251, (i/0 version) has a single 150 gallon tank.

It also shows a diesel tank with a 125 gallon capacity.

Grady catalogs - http://www.gradywhite.com/customer/catalogs/

The Dolphin was a more budget minded, fisherman focused, Sailfish, so a less accomodating cabin without an underbridge berth. Same idea as the Gulfstream.

More fuel capacity.

The hull and everything else is the same.

BobP's summary is right on in terms of the 'fit' of the Dolphin in the Grady line. 240 gallons was the capacity from the factory with outboards - the Sailfish of the same vintage had 202 gallon capacity.

The cabin on the Dolphin was very similar to the Gulfstream, less plush and "admiral- focused' than the Sailfish. Huge cockpit benefitting from the wide beam gave tremendous fising space for a 25 foot boat. A '91 is a pre-SeaVee2 hull.

Great boat - I really enjoyed mine.
