Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have a 1985 Seafarer, I've just added a hardtop and I'm planning on adding an auxilliary (front) fuel tank. What tank, fittings and gear am I looking at?

My Grady is still running well (43 mph @4800 RMP by GPS, flat water) with the original single Yamaha 220 (maybe a 225, I don't remember), over 970 hours, with the cylinders compression testing within 5 lbs. of each other. I guess Ringfree works! I'd love to repower, but not till I have to or gas goes some higher.

You can contact Grady White and they may be able to get you a tank, but you will likely be better off finding someone near you to build a custom. There are a few places that build tanks. I have heard good things from Patriot Marine in NJ from a few friends and a while back someone on this site bought a tank from them and recommended them to another forum member. http://www.patriotmarinefab.net/index.html
Any aluminum fabricator can build a tank, but some are better then others, you will want a quality marine tank and I've heard they are top notch, do not know what their prices are or how they compare to others.
