I towed my jet ski down to Hatteras North Carolina last night and went out again today looking for some Cobia. I departed Hatteras Inlet around 0615 hrs and ran south about 35 miles South, I could not find any water along the coast warmer than 66 degrees. I saw one Cobia all day. I am sure that someone found them today but I did not. The conditions were fabulous, sunny and North at 10-15 mph. I did see alot of schools of menhaden and I stopped and watched the birds and dophins bust through them. No fish but a great day just the same. Here are a couple of pictures.
