I connect the salt away container/injector in line with the hose flusher hose connector. I have dual engines so I made up a rig to flush both engines at once with the salt away container/injector feeding both engines. I also use SS quick connects on the F225 engines so it's a fairly quick set up. I have a "Y" in the hose line so I can wash the boat while the engines are flushing. It's a great set up .

A few times a year, just make sure you go for a ride to "blow out" the salt away, etc. I run it thru my saltwater pump a few times a year too.

From my understanding and I use salt away after launch on my trailer and on returning home on trailer and outboards. It is fine to leave salt away in the outboards on flushing as it coats the water jackets and helps dissolve any stubborn salt deposits. Same with the trailer. Cheers, trapper
