Probably not if the charger is from 1996. Look up the charger model, probably deltek and then check. If you have new batteries, it would be a good idea to get a digital charger. Minn Kota work well.

Hi,
A two bank 15A would be good for a two bank system with two batteries per bank. I think a 10A would likely work as well. There are several good brands out there (Promariner, Genius, Minn Kota or Guest to name a few). They likely all have a model that would work for you. I like the Promariner.
