Bimini to Hard Top ?

Hello,

I purchased. 2007 225 Tournament last week and it came w a perfectly fine Bimini top. I am considering replacing with a hard top. A friend was on the GW website today and advised that model did not come w a hard top option. Has anyone put a hard top on this specific year/model and if so, where did you purchase? Thank you in advance !

Had a custom top built for a 2007 208. Around 6k a few years ago, but came out nice. Look for fabricators in your area. Even if it came with a factory option it won’t be any cheaper.

Agree. The shipping will cost you as well. I isn't going to be cheap.

In later years Grady did add this 'rigid' top option to the 225. I only recall this because I thought it was such a good idea to have good sun coverage, a mounting place for antennas, outriggers, etc. and no front legs to hinder fishing or forward vision.

I cut this image from a 2011 Grady catalog, so very low quality, but you can see what they were offering. Browse Grady catalogs around these years and you will see the evolution of what they offered.

I would talk to people around your area, there are custom shops that do great work,I have a custom top, and then added a custom full windshield on my boat, love it. what area do you boat. hear in Maine, it cold most of the time, nice to be closed in, and that plastic glass suck to look out allday.
